Family Relocating

Allied is able to provide you and your family a suite of additional services to help you relocate, if and when the need arises. We can arrange relocation services anywhere around the world including home search, school selection, locality maps and guides. These services would be provided by sister company SIRVA Relocation via its network of some 40 company-owned offices across the globe.

Home Search

SIRVA Relocation will aid you in finding and accessing suitable homes for inspection. We will also secure your property by way of a lease agreement and facilitate the resettlement of your family to your new location with minimal disruption and stress.

School Selection

SIRVA Relocation can facilitate all of your family’s education requirements. This assistance is usually carried out post-orientation and prior to, or in combination with, a housing search, as the selection of one will have a bearing on the selection of the other. Your family’s educational requirements will be identified along with options discussed in length prior to arrival. This is usually a one or two day service. Our Move Consultant will attempt to understand your children’s needs, gathering information on recent educational history (such as reports) and then undertake research to identify schools with vacancies within targeted areas appropriate to your family’s needs. This research covers all levels of education.

Tutoring for Children

Occasionally, some families may require some specialised educational advice. This will be noted and a referral is then provided for additional assistance to ensure an ideal fit is made for an individual family member. Examples may be children needing special education, speech pathology, gifted children’s programs, language classes not offered at mainstream institutions, intellectually or physically handicapped children.

Spousal Career Counselling

The relocation program offers your partner a step-by-step approach to employment seeking in your new country.

The lifestyle stream supports your partner in ‘getting connected’ with whatever other non-work activities they may wish to join.

Language Assistance for Delegate and Spouse/Partner

SIRVA Relocation is able to assist you and your family in the learning of the country’s language through classes provided to you in your home country, our Move Consultant will work with each member of your family to asses the extent of the language program that needs to be delivered and the investment required.

Cross-Cultural Training

SIRVA Relocation Move Consultants are experts in the design and delivery of cultural learning and development services. The services provided are flexible and customised to cover every aspect of working and living in another culture. The program objectives are to ensure that you and your family will be happy on your relocation and are able to make the necessary adjustments that are required for a successful move. SIRVA Relocation can provide Pre-departure and Repatriation Cultural Briefings.
